Food for Thought Series: 'Backing off the Ledge: Defending the Constitutional Order' with Marc Landy

Mark Landy will analyze how the critical aspects of the institutional arrangement that comprise the constitutional order are under attack — the electoral college, federalism, the Supreme Court (court packing), the Senate — and that we must back off the brink and appreciate how these different elements fit together to sustain a government that is both energetic and protective of liberty.

Mark Landy is professor of political science at Boston College. He and Sid Milkis wrote "Presidential Greatness." He is also the author of a textbook, "American Government: Enduring Principles, Critical Choices." He has published many articles about the presidency, federalism and public policy.
