Free Speech and Intellectual Diversity in Higher Education and American Society

Over the course of the 2017 - 2018 school year, the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership, along with partners the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication,  welcomed speakers representing a variety of perspectives to ASU to discuss and debate the issues surrounding free speech and intellectual diversity on American college campuses and in public life.  The series, which aired on AZ PBS, is part of the School's mission to create public programs that promote intelligent civil dialogue about critical contemporary issues.
