Video Title

'Liberal Education: How Not to Get Automated Out of a Job by 2030' with Meg Richardson

Body

On November 12, 2020, Meg Richardson gave a virtual lecture to Arizona State University students titled 'Liberal Education: How Not to Get Automated Out of a Job by 2030'. This event was a part of The SCETL Advantage series.

Uber. Airbnb. Venmo. Google. Facebook. What do these organizations have in common? They're businesses. But they're also disrupters. Every industry across every sector is being disrupted in some way. Businesses are changing. And that means professionals need to change as well. Hear Meg Richardson, Chief of Staff to the President of Devex, a media platform for the global development community, tell her story and discuss how a liberal arts education like SCETL’s equips students with the intellectual versatility to succeed in the rapidly-changing information economy of the 21st century.
